Kolkata, May 17: Days after Gautam Gambhir was fined 15 per cent of his match fees for his despicable conduct that saw him kick a chair during his team's IPL 2016 victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain seems to have landed in yet another trouble.

During the match against RCB at Eden Gardens on May 16, Gambhir once again was seen losing his cool and this time the KKR skipper got into a heated conversation with the on-field umpire. (VIDEO: Gambhir kicks chair)

The incident occurred during the 19th over, Virat Kohli played a shot towards point region and the ball went straight into Gambhir's hands.

Television cameras showed Gambhir throwing the ball towards non-striker's end - the direction in which Virat Kohli was running - in a fit of rage. This unnecessary aggression from Gambhir perhaps irked the umpire who snatched the ball from bowler, Andre Russel's hands.

A furious Gambhir then sped towards the umpire which resulted in an argument between the two. The game progressed after Gambhir was sent back to his position.

Gambhir could once again be penalised for his despicable conduct.

Earlier during match between KKR and RCB TV replays showed Gambhir kicking a chair in the dug-out in violent fashion after Suryakumar Yadav hit a boundary.

According to an IPL media release, "Gautam Gambhir from the Kolkata Knight Riders team was fined 15% of his match fee for breaching the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team’s match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on May 2."
