Tendulkar, who is the "Icon" of the team, had some inspiring words for the players, as they got ready to face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on their home ground - Wankhede Stadium, today.

Speaking to the host broadcaster "Sony MAX" before start of play, Tendulkar's words to MI outfit were to "look for solutions and not problems."

"It is nice to be back and be a part of Mumbai Indians. I am enjoying that (my role as an Icon)," Tendulkar said.

Tendulkar, who celebrated his 42nd birthday yesterday (April 24), said in any sport there will be "bumpy rides".

"In any sport, there are going to be bumpy rides. These are challenges. You have to overcome these obstacles and when you do that, it gives immense satisfaction," he said.

"Look for solutions not the problems. Problems will be there till the last day of your careers. Enjoy the games, be positive and results will follow," he advised the Rohit Sharma-led side.

On the birthday party last night, he said, "There were few close friends who joined me last night. It was a decent party. We did not get carried away."

Tendulkar shared his birthday celebrations' pictures on Instagram. Check the following Tweets
