Bengaluru, April 13: Rain could play spoilsport in tonight's IPL 2015 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. According to the latest (4.45 PM) report, it was raining at the stadium but cleared by 6 PM.
According to weather forecast, at 7 PM tonight, thunderstorms are expected. The game is scheduled to start at 8 PM and toss to take place 30 minutes before. (Sehwag calls Harbhajan 'mad')
For the past two days, the city has witnessed rain in the evenings. And it might be the same on Monday night as well. (KKR, RCB players involved in a 'scuffle')
However, according to Accuweather.com's hourly predictions, between 8 and 10 PM it will be partly cloudy and mostly clear by 11 PM.
Monday's clash will be RCB's first home match of the season. On Saturday (April 11), they opened this year's campaign with a 3-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens, thanks to Chris Gayle's heroics.
Going by this, we could get a shortened game. However, fans, players and officials will be praying that the rain clears and a full 20-over contest is played.
