"Nearly 18,000 to 20,000 tickets of the Test match between India and New Zealand will be available for sale in the range of Rs 350 to Rs 2,500. The dates when the tickets are available for sale will be announced soon," MPCA's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rohit Pandit told PTI on Wednesday.

He also informed that MPCA has given an application to the Madhya Pradesh government seeking 100 per cent rebate from the entertainment tax.

"We are waiting for the state government's reply on the issue. Depending upon the response, the rates of the tickets may get altered," Pandit added.

The CEO termed "historic" the organisation of the match as the city of famouse cricketer Syed Mushtaq Ali will be holding a Test for the first time.

Earlier India and New Zealand played a One Day International at the Nehru Stadium here on December 15, 1988 when the then Dileep Vengsarkar-led Indian team thrashed the New Zealand by 53 runs.

However, after an incident in 2001, the organisation of international matches was stopped at the Nehru Stadium and now the games are played at the Holkar Stadium.
