Melbourne, Mar 13: Defending champions India will face Bangladesh in the quarter-finals of the ICC World Cup 2015 on March 19 (Thursday) at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Bangladesh lost their final league match to co-hosts New Zealand in Hamilton today to finish fourth in Pool A. India, the toppers of Pool B, will play the fourth-placed team - Bangladesh.
India will wind up their league engagements tomorrow against Zimbabwe in Auckland. Irrespective of Saturday's result, India are assured of top spot.
The other three quarter-final match-ups are yet to be confirmed and will be known on Sunday (March 15). Two more teams have to be confirmed with Pakistan, West Indies and Ireland fighting for them.
Australia, Sri Lanka, South Africa and New Zealand, who won all six matches in the league stage have made the last-eight (knockouts).
