Bengaluru, July 21: Harmanpreet Kaur conquered the collective conscience of cricketing fraternity with a whirlwind 171 against Australia in the semifinal of the ICC Women's World Cup at Derby on Thursday (July 20).
The Australians might have been at the receving end of Harmanpreet's fury, but that did not stop them from admiring the Indian's innings.
Australian star Meg Lanning openly admitted that the defending champions did not have any ideas as how to stop the marauding Indian.
Alex Blackwell, the Australian veteran, went a step ahead and presented her jersey to Harmanpreet. The act of appreciation left the Indian stunned and could not hide her joy, tweeting the moment.
Special Thanks to @AlexBlackwell2 for the Jersey. @ThunderWBBL pic.twitter.com/G3wUrEo7mE
