ICC Chief Executive David Richardson, who represented South Africa during his playing days, said: "We welcome ANZ as the Official Bank for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in New Zealand. ANZ already has a very strong association with cricket, especially through their cultural and community activities. The ICC looks forward to ANZ bringing added life and excitement to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in New Zealand."
ANZ New Zealand CEO David Hisco said they were happy to be a partner of the ICC in sponsoring major events in New Zealand in the past and they were looking to make this summer a memorable one for the cricket fans.
He said a programme named ANZ Field Your Dream Programme will be run between now and the end of the quadrennial tournament on March 29 when the final will be held.
New Zealand and Australia will host the cricket World Cup for the second time since 1992 when Pakistan became the champions.
