In a reply to Sachin Tendulkar on micro-blogging website Twitter, Virat wrote, "Thank You @sachin_rt paaji. Less special than you!" (Virat Kohli becomes No. 1 batsman again)

Tendulkar led the effusive praise for Kohli, terming his unbeaten 82-run innings last night as a "special" one. "Woooow @imVkohli ...special it was... Great win, fighting all the way! #IndvsAus," Tendulkar tweeted.

Thanks to Kohli's heroics with the bat, India successfully chased down 161 and booked a spot in the semi-finals, where they will face West Indies on March 31 (Thursday) in Mumbai.
The 27-year-old cricketer, who also happens to be the no.1 T20 batsman, with his incredible innings of 82 off 51 balls against Australia at PCA stadium, triggered a debate whether he's a better batsman than Sachin Tendulkar.
But, seems the Delhi-lad himself has decided to put such comparisons to an end with his remarks.
