Dubai, Feb 2: Virat Kohli's poor form in the just concluded tri-series has seen him slip one spot in the latest ICC Rankings for ODI batsmen.
Kohli failed with the bat, scoring just in 4 innings (9, 4, 3* and 8). India also disappointed as they did not win a single match in the tournament that also involved Australia and England. Hosts Australia won the title yesterday, defeating Eoin Morgan's side by 112 runs.
In the latest ODI rankings, South African captain AB de Villiers remains on top while Kohli has lost his second spot to Hashim Amla.
Both De Villiers and Amla were in top form against West Indies in the recently concluded five-match series. De Villiers hit the fastest ODI hundred, off just 31 balls. Opener Amla scored 2 hundreds and 2 fifties (total 413 runs) and won the Man-of-the-series award.
Other Indians to feature in top-10 of the rankings are - Shikhar Dhawan at 7 and captain MS Dhoni at 8. Rohit Sharma is the next best placed India at 13th position.
In the bowlers rankings for ODIs, there is no Indian in the top-10. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the highest ranked at 13th. The list is headed by Pakistan's banned offspinner Saeed Ajmal.
