New Delhi, Dec 29: A day after media reports claimed Gautam Gambhir ignored Team India's ODI skipper MS Dhoni following his side's victory during quarter final game in Vijay Hazare Trophy, the Delhi skipper slammed media for carrying out such baseless reports.
The Delhi boy even went on giving a proof that he actually shook hands with MS Dhoni by tweeting the image and even slammed the media for being insensitive.
Meanwhile, Gambhir took to micro-blogging site Twitter to dispel the rumours and said his image of shaking hands with Dhoni made more news than PM Modi's visit to Lahore. The aggressive Delhi boy suggested the media for verifying facts before jumping over conclusion.
The flamboyant batter even slammed the media and said, "And finally 2 my dear friends in d electronic media: here's a pic of me and Dhoni shaking hands after our QF win. Dis handshake made more news dan d one between Pak PM Nawaz Sharif & Mr Narender Modi! Grow up media. Verify facts."

There have been reports in the past that Gambhir and Dhoni didn't share best of bonds even in the dressing room. Hence, the video garnered lots of attention.
