Mumbai, July 9: India will play 3 Tests in Sri Lanka next month, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed today.

Team India will arrive in Colombo on August 3 and will play a 3-day warm-up match from August 6 before the 1st Test, which starts on August 12.
"The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and Sri Lanka Cricket would like to confirm the schedule of India's tour to Sri Lanka in August-September 2015," the BCCI said in a media release on Thursday.
"The tour will start with a three-day warm-up game against Sri Lanka Chairman's XI, followed by three Test matches. The Test matches will be played at Galle, Tamil Union Oval, and SSC Colombo," it added.

August 6 to 8 (Thursday to Saturday) - 3-day practice match (R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo)
August 12 to 16 (Wednesday to Sunday) - 1st Test in Galle
August 20 to 24 (Thursday to Monday) - 2nd Test in Colombo (Tamil Union Oval)
August 28 to September 1 (Friday to Tuesday) - 3rd and final Test in Colombo (Sinhalese Sports Club)
September 2 (Wednesday) - Departure to India
