Full schedule of India-Australia Test series (February 23 to March 29, 2017)

Australia were whitewashed 4-0 by India in their last tour of the country in 2013 when MS Dhoni was leading the side.

New Delhi, Oct 21: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday (October 21) announced the venues and dates for India's four Test series against Australia beginning February 2017.

Virat Kohli and his men will lock horns with Steve Smith and company in the tournament titled Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Full schedule of India-Australia Test series (February 23 to March 29, 2017)

The first Test will be held in Pune from February 23 to 27. The teams will then move to Bengaluru, where second Test will be held from March 4-8.

The last two matches will be played in the two new Test centres -- Ranchi and Dharamsala -- from March 16-20 and March 25-29, respectively.

Australia were whitewashed 4-0 by India in their last tour of India in 2013 when MS Dhoni was leading the side. India are scheduled to play 10 more Tests, 6 ODIs and three T20Is in the current home season.

There aren't any ODI or T20I matches scheduled during this tour.

1st Test (February 23-27) Pune

2nd Test (March 4-8) Bengaluru

3rd Test (March 16-20) Ranchi

4th Test (March 25-29) Dharamsala
