Bengaluru, Oct 5: The new season of Ranji Trophy will get under way tomorrow (October 6). For the first time, the entire tournament will be played at neutral venues.

The battle for supremacy in the country's premier domestic event will be between 28 teams. The sides are divided into 4 groups. A, B have 9 teams each while C has 10. Chattisgarh will be making their debut this year. Mumbai are the defending champions.
