Kolkata, June 1: Former India captain Sourav Ganguly said he was clueless about what his role would be in the newly-formed BCCI's Advisory Committee.

Today, BCCI announced that Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman were part of the Indian cricket board's advisory committee. Ganguly said he was happy to work with his former team-mates but remained unaware of his exact role.
Talking to reporters on Monday evening, Ganguly said he was aware of his appointment but added he does not know "what is the role of Advisory Committee".
"I have just come to know about the Advisory Committee. I don't know anything else," Ganguly told reporters.
When asked whether he would travel with the Indian team to Bangladesh this month, he said he had "no idea".
"I have no idea. I don't even know what is the role of Advisory Committee," he said.
