Mirpur (Bangladesh), June 22: India captain MS Dhoni has said they want to play freely in the 3rd and final ODI against Bangladesh on Wednesday (June 24) since a scoreline of 3-0 does not matter as they have already lost the series.
Bangladesh defeated India in the 2nd ODI last night (June 21) for their first-ever series win over their neighbours. (You can remove me as captain: Dhoni)
Reflecting on the debacle at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, Dhoni put the blame on his batsmen as they did not have enough runs. India were bowled out for 200 in a match reduced to 47 overs per side due to rain.
"We will come and enjoy (in 3rd ODI). Maybe play bit more freely. It will be the last game of the season. It has been hectic season. We won't think too much of the result. Whether it is 3-0 or 2-1, does not matter," Dhoni said at the post-match presentation interview on Sunday.
