Mumbai, Feb 19: Shreyas Iyer scored an unbeaten double century as India A and Australia play out a draw in the three days warm up game at Mumbai.

Day 2 match report

India A started the day with a score of 176/4 with Shreyas Iyer not out at 85 and Rishabh Pant.

Pant was dismissed soon today, by Steve O'Keefe and Ishan Kishan too was sent back very quickly for a mere 4 runs. (Ind-Aus series schedule, squads)

Karnataka batsman Krishnappa Gowtham stood strong with Iyer to help India reach a total 403, 66 runs less than Australia's first innings total.

Gowtham scored a quickfire 74 runs from 75 balls and gave perfect support to Shreyas Iyer who scored his double century. At the end, Iyer remained not out at 202.

Spinners Nathan Lyon and Steve O'Keefe were the peak of the bowlers. Lyon took 4 wickets in 28.5 overs conceding 162 runs and O'Keefe picked 3 wickets in 24 overs conceding 102 runs.

Australia came to bat and scored 110 for the loss of 4 wickets. David Warner scored 35 runs while Peter Handscomb registered 37 runs.

Hardik Pandya, Navdip Saini, Ashok Dinda and Rishabh Pant took 1 wicket each by the end of the day's play.

Australia take on India in the first test match of the four-match test series on February 23, Thursday in Pune.
