The incident happened (watch video) in the 154th over when Bhuvneshwar attempted to play a shot at a Lyon delivery pitched outside offstump. The ball took the bottom edge of the bat and looked to have bounced before going to Watson.

Australians were not too excited and made a quiet appeal for which English umpire Richard Kettleborough was not sure. He referred the decision to third umpire Simon Fry.

After watching the replays, Fry stunned all by giving Bhuvneshwar out. The video evidence was not conclusive but still the Australian umpire pressed the 'Out' button.

Yesterday, there was controversy over spidercam after Australia captain Steve Smith dropped a catch, after being distracted by the aerial camera.

Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is not new to controversies during India-Australia matches. The infamous 'Monkeygate' scandal involving Harbhajan Singh and Andrew Symonds was at this venue in 2008.
