Rajkot, Oct 16: Test batsman Cheteshwar Pujara hosted a "lovely dinner" for the Indian ODI team at his residence in his hometown Rajkot on Thursday evening (October 15).
MS Dhoni-led India are in Rajkot to face South Africa in the 3rd ODI on Sunday (October 18). The five-match series is currently tied at 1-1. South Africa won the opener by 5 runs in Kanpur and in the 2nd, inspired by Dhoni, the hosts triumphed by 22 runs.
In a photo posted on the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) official Twitter page, the players are seen posing for pictures, with Pujara and his father Arvind Pujara.
"Team India had a lovely dinner last evening at the Pujara residence in Rajkot," read the caption on BCCI's Twitter handle.
In the photo, Pujara is flanked by Virat Kohli and Dhoni. Also seen were Shikhar Dhawan, Umesh Yadav, Amit Mishra, Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, R Ashwin and some of the members of the Pujara family.
The right-handed Pujara will be seen in action in the 4-match Test series against South Africa starting next month.
