Bangaldesh defeated India by 6 wickets (Duckworth-Lewis method) to clinch the 3-match series 2-0 with a game to spare, on Sunday night (June 21). This was their first ever bilateral series victory against their neighbours.

Bangladesh players celebrate their landmark series win

Left-arm paceman Mustafizur Rahman was the hero again as he took 6/43 in a world record setting spell. India were packed off for 200 and Bangladesh romped home with 6 wickets to spare in the 47 overs per side rain-curtailed contest.

Here are some of the reactions from Bangladesh media

Dhaka Tribune - "Mustafiz mauls India"

"Brave and bold Bangladesh rode on complete teamwork to outplay India in every department as the home side secured the three-match one-day international series with a game to spare. It was another hapless day out for Indian skipper MS Dhoni in Dhaka as no matter whatever trick he pulled out."

The Daily Star - "InCREDIBLE"

"These were euphoric scenes, some of which were unimaginable even just a year ago, when the Tigers were going through one of their worst runs in international cricket. But there it was, Bangladesh had just brushed aside the world's second best ODI team and by doing so also earned a spot in the Champions Trophy."
