As Men In Blue will be up against Men In Green on Feb 27 (Saturday) in the Asia Cup T20 tournament in Bangladesh, speculations are rife about who is going to win the highly anticipated match.

India favourite to beat Pakistan: Akram

If former Pakistani captain Wasim Akram, given their current form, MS Dhoni's men are the favourites to the win the epic clash.

Akram told TOI, "Yes, that'll be a good game to look forward to and given the way India are playing right now, they're clear favourites."

The Pakistani bowling legend also lauded the Asian Cricket Council for changing the format of Asia Cup to T20s.

The Asian giants in the business i.e. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh couldn't have asked for a better preparation for the ICC World T20, starting next month.

"The Asia Cup, this year, assumes a lot of significance particularly because of the Twenty20 format that it'll be played in. It was a very sensible decision on part of the Asian Cricket Council.

"Out of the last three World T20 champions, three are participating in this Asia Cup, so that quotient alone adds so much excitement to the tournament. Then, Bangladesh have been an unbeatable side at home. This edition has a lot of potential and will help teams pick their best combinations for World T20," Akram further added.
