Sehwag took to Twitter to inform about the invitation from the popular news anchor but the cricketer denied to participate in the show saying, 'that guy didn't even deserved a minute of airtime'.

"Arnab Goswami wants me to speak on that British guys views on India on NewsHour, but that man doesnt deserve any airtime, hence I have denied," tweeted Sehwag.

Sehwag's tweet vent viral and garnered massive support over social media.

Morgan, last week, made fun of India's celebration of winning 'two' medals at Rio Olympics 2016.

Morgan wrote,"Country with 1.2 billion people wildly celebrates 2 losing medals. How embarrassing is that?"

The 'Nawab of Najafgarh' gave a fitting reply to the British journalist who's country hasn't won a single ICC ODI World Cup.

A few days later, when England cricket team hit record 444/3 in 50 overs against Pakistan in the 3rd ODI at Trent Bridge, Morgan tried to poke fun at Sehwag and even challenged him for Rs 1 million bet saying 'England will win a Cricket World Cup before India wins an Olympic Gold'.

Morgan faced massive embarrassment when twitterati reminded him that India already has won 9 gold medals in Olympics. Faced with this criticism, he deleted his tweet.

To save himself from further embarrassment, the journalist modified his tweet challenging Sehwag to donate Rs 10 lakh to charity if his country wins a cricket World Cup before India wins 'another' Olympic gold.

Sehwag, later, mocked the British journalist for his unnecessary provocation without naming the latter in his epic rebuttal.

Sehwag, this time, chose to completely ignore Morgan for his rant.
