New Delhi, April 1: As England beat New Zealand by seven wickets to enter World T20 final, former England player Andrew Flintoff taunted Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
Both Big B and Flintoff recently indulged in some banter while Indian cricket team was swamped with congratulatory messages on twitter for their convincing six-wicket win over Australia in an ICC World Twenty20 match.
Chasing 193 for victory, Simmons scored an unbeaten 82 to steer West Indies to the World T20 final. He survived two chances -- Ravichandran Ashwin's no-ball gave man-of-the-match Simmons 'life' at 18 when Jasprit Bumrah had taken the catch and then Pandya overstepped when the right-hander was on 50.
After India's loss and England's win, Flintoff tweeted yesterday and said:
Yesssssssssss @englandcricket !— andrew flintoff (@flintoff11) March 30, 2016
Earlier Flintoff had said:
Sorry who's this ? 😜 https://t.co/sjhs7HGT1d— andrew flintoff (@flintoff11) March 27, 2016
After India's loss in the semi-final of WT20, Flintoff praised Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and said:
@imVkohli didn't deserve that finish , a great player with a spirit to match who nearly won the game on his own ! 👏🏼— andrew flintoff (@flintoff11) March 31, 2016
