Colombo, Aug 24: After winning the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka by a huge 278-run margin, Indian cricketers were still busy playing, but on a different field.
On the fifth and final day of the 2nd Test, India won just after the lunch interval to level the 3-match series 1-1. The third and final Test starts on August 28. (Kohli presents his jersey to Sangakkara)
After this convincing victory, Indian players were witness to an emotional send-off to Kumar Sangakkara, who quit international cricket. Later, away from the cricket field, it was time to unwind for the players with badminton.
Former Sri Lanka all-rounder Russel Arnold, who is part of TV commentary for the series, tweeted a picture of Indian players including paceman Ishant Sharma, playing badminton.
"India have beaten SL. ..beaten the rain here in Colombia and it's time for...," he wrote on his Twitter page on Monday afternoon (August 24).
