Bengaluru, Nov 16: The third day's play in the second Test between India and South Africa was called off without a ball being bowled after persistent showers forced the officials to take an early call, here.
Replying to South Africa's 214 all out, India had ended the opening day at 80 for no loss and Day 2 was washed off due to consistent rains. The M Chinnaswamy stadium has witnessed just 81 overs of play on the opening day.
If weather permits, the match will start at 9:15 am tomorrow. Shikhar Dhawan (45) and Murali Vijay (28) will resume India's first innings whenever play begins.
