Melbourne, Jan 29: Yuvraj Singh has returned to the Indian team but he has been kept waiting to bat as the top order once again delivered big in the 2nd Twenty20 International against Australia today (January 29). And fans on social media began to make fun of Yuvraj's father Yograj Singh, India's former Test cricketer.

Yograj hits out at Dhoni; Ind-Aus series schedule

Yograj, not long ago, had blamed captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for not picking his son in the Indian team. Yuvraj had not played international cricket since the ICC World Twenty20 final in April 2014. The left-handed all-rounder was recalled for the Australian tour, for T20Is.

The 34-year-old made it to the Playing XI in the opening T20I at Adelaide Oval on Tuesday (January 26). India won that game by 37 runs after scoring 188/3 in 20 overs. Dhoni had promoted himself ahead of Yuvraj. And today with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's half centuries and Dhoni again batting up the order, at 4, Yuvraj's wait continued. After the game in Adelaide, Dhoni had said he had batted ahead of Yuvraj since the left-hander did not have enough practice, landing only few days before the match. He had mentioned that Yuvraj and Suresh Raina had only one 'net' session.

Dhoni and India's fans took the opportunity on Friday to make fun of Yograj. They started to write how Yograj would blame Dhoni for his son not getting batting in 2 games. Yograj Singh was trending on Twitter as India posted 184/3 in 20 overs at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
