'The Wall' Dravid will not be in person at the stadium to motivate the "Men in Blue" but his name features prominently. At the moment, under-fire Indian captain Dhoni needs all the support, motivation and Dravid's name could do wonders. (5 strategies for Dhoni)
The home team's dressing room is known as "Rahul Dravid Dressing Room" at Holkar Stadium. As they arrive for the day-night match on Wednesday and before entering the room they will look at the board on top of the door and surely will be inspired by the batting legend's achievements.
Dravid, who made his Test debut for India in 1996 at Lord's, retired in 2013 scoring over 23,000 international runs with 48 centuries (36 in Tests, 12 in ODIs). He played 164 Tests, 344 ODIs and 1 Twenty20 International. (Gavaskar backs 'special' Dhoni)
Trailing 0-1 in the 5-match series, Indian players will be hoping to turn it around, staying in "Rahul Dravid Dressing Room".
The picture of the dressing room was tweeted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) official Twitter handle on Tuesday afternoon.
"At the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore, the home team's dressing room is the 'Rahul Dravid Dressing Room'. #INDvsSA," BCCI tweeted to its 1.84 million followers.
Apart from 42-year-old Dravid, who is now India A coach, the ground's history will also be a big plus for Dhoni, Kohli and his team-mates. India have won all their 3 previous ODIs at the venue. Virender Sehwag hit a double century at this stadium against West Indies in 2011.
The stadium hosted its first ever ODI (India-England) in 2006 (Dravid scored 69) and so far only 3 50-over international matches have been played - all featuring India.
