McGregor and Mayweather are poised to face each other in a boxing match in the blockbuster main event of the showtime pay-per-view at the T-Mobile are in Las Vegas on August 26.

Tyson also called Conor a dumb a** to agree to a boxing match where Mayweather is undobtedly going to knock the daylights out off him. He also said if he were in Floyd's boots he would have faced the Irishman under MMA rules.

The Notorious one isn't the type of character to let a comment like that pass by without responding, so he retaliated on the matter through Twitter.

"That's nice Mike, but you're looking at the new Don King here, son. Money is mine."

The Irishman then posted a message to all his naysayers, writing: "You are all going to eat your words for the rest of your days, while I eat lobster for the rest of mine."

Tyson's has very little faith in McGregor's abilities as a boxer, despite that he conceded the UFC lightweight champion is extremely entertaining and that the match will be a spectacle to watch.
