@CMPunk Are the rumors about you returning at Wrestlemania 33 next year true?— Cameron Zigas (@camzigas) November 18, 2016
CM Punk is one of the most popular WWE Superstars in this generation who’s made quite a name with his outspoken mentality. Even after he’s gone for almost three year ago, fans chants his names whenever things or segments get boring in the WWE television shows. It was due to miscommunication between him and the WWE, that he called it a quit.
Yes. I also prevented a Ford plant from moving to Mexico. It's true. Going to be big. So big. Bigly. Tremendously bigly. https://t.co/u5xj4ZD4Of— Coach (@CMPunk) November 18, 2016
He was also frustrated with his hectic schedule and a medical lawsuit that he faced by WWE. It is still ongoing. During mid-2016 some rumours suggested that WWE may be contacting him again for a comeback. It was further fuelled by the devastating loss he suffered in his debut match at UFC.
But, this reply and mockery confirm that the tensions between him and WWE are still the same as it once was. While many of his fans do think that MMA fights are not best for him, he is sticking to get back into the octagon with full force rather than making effort for a WWE comeback.
