Bengaluru, Nov 6: Apparently, Kevin Owens is done with Seth Rollins given the fact that he defeated him for straight two pay-per-views.
The first fight took place at the Clash of champions PPV and the second one at the Hell in a Cell PPV. Both the times, Rollins got screwed by Chris Jericho.
Although, Rollins is seeking revenge on both Owens and Jericho, he is not going to get another match for the WWE Universal title.
We will have to wait for Triple H’s return to starting the direct feud with Rollins that can culminate their match at the Royal Rumble PPV, perhaps.
Meanwhile, Kevin Owens will be receiving his next opponent after Survivor Series is over. Roman Reigns is the opponent, as of now.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggested the same saying that a “champion vs. champion” match is being planned for next month. It is going to take place at the Roadblock PPV in December.
The PPV is scheduled to take place on December 18th and it will be a Raw-exclusive PPV. It is also going to be the final one for this calendar year. The main event will see the Universal champion locking horns with the United States champion.
The sparks for this feud was initiated after Roman Reigns mentioned that he is ready to go after the Universal champion, Kevin Owens.
After Hell in a Cell PPV, on the Raw Talk show, he wanted two championships in his two shoulders. The storyline was continued by the United States championship match, this past week between Reigns and Owens’ buddy, Chris Jericho.
However, the focus will be on the Survivor Series match between Raw and Smackdown, as of now. We don’t know yet if both the championship will be on the line or not at Roadblock PPV.
Owens’ title might be on the line. But, it is unlikely that Reigns is going to win the Universal title in this year. If this match happens then we might get Reigns on the Universal championship picture earlier than expected.
