Bryans to face Pospisil-Sock in Wimbledon men's doubles final

By Ians English
London, July 5: World No. 1 pairing of Bob and Mike Bryan will play for their 99th team title in the Wimbledon doubles final Saturday.

The Americans Friday ousted French duo Michael Llodra and Nicolas Mahut 7-6 (7-4), 6-3, 6-2 in one hour and 46 minutes, reports Xinhua.

In Saturday's final, the Americans will face first-time duo Vasek Pospisil and Jack Sock, who pulled off another giant-killing performance as they defeated fifth seeds Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek 7-6 (7-5), 6-3, 6-4 in two hours and 21 minutes.

The Canadian-American pairing had beaten second seeds Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares in the quarterfinals and eighth seeds Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi in the second round.

The Bryan brothers are bidding to win their fourth Wimbledon title, adding to triumphs in 2006, 2011 and 2013. They also finished runners-up in 2005, 2007 and 2009.
