Bengaluru, Nov 3: The speculation regarding the Undertaker’s status was running wild with his hiatus from WWE since the month of April.
A number of rumors suggested that he was willing to hang up his boots forever since he believes that there’s nothing much left inside him. He was further offended that Vince McMahon wanted him to lose against his son at Wrestlemania 32.
But, now we have been given with the official news about Undertaker’s return. The Undertaker will be returning at the November 15th episode of Smackdown Live which is scheduled to take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The episode will be the go-home show for the Survivor Series PPV that is taking place on November 20th.
Also, it is worth to mention that it is going to be the 900th episode of Smackdown Live. So, the phenom who has been part of the blue brand for several years will make an appearance to make the occasion worth a watch. The arena’s twitter handle posted a tweet confirming the news.
With his appearance, the rumors got even bigger with his appearance at the Survivor Series PPV, as well. Undertaker has a rich history with the annual PPV of the year. He made his debut in WWE with this event 26 years ago.
As an honour, WWE arranged a 25th-anniversary celebration last year at the same event in Atlanta, Georgia.
With the flagship show presenting big names like Brock Lesnar and Goldberg for the main event of Survivor Series, Smackdown must try to come up with Taker to make things equal.
During his last full-time run, Undertaker used to perform for the blue brand. His pictures with Smackdown commissioner, Shane McMahon suggested that he might be heading towards the blue brand and the rumors are turning out to be true. It is still not clear if it’s going to be one-off appearance or not.
Rumors also suggest that he will be making a number of appearances on November 15th to kick-start his program for Wrestlemania 33. He is ready to perform on the grandest stage in full caliber.
