According to the police, the drugs were located 15 km from Corumba, a town bordering Bolivia. During the operation three men aged between 33 and 45 and a woman aged 55 were arrested.

A police official said diggers were employed to retrieve the drugs and that the operation was initiated after receiving telephone complaints.

In addition to cocaine, ammunition and mobile phones with call records to Bolivia were also found in the houses of the suspects.

Part of the drug was labelled with pictures of football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar as well as a "Joker" -- a fictional character, which criminal groups in Rio de Janeiro identify with.
