Brazil asks Fifa to punish Zuniga
Rio de Janeiro, July 7: The Brazilian FA (CBF) has asked Fifa's Disciplinary Committee to investigate and punish Colombia's Camilo Zuniga after his collision with Neymar caused the ace forward a serious back injury.

CBF demanded that FIFA punish Zuniga after he kneed Neymar's back during the quarter-final game, ending the Brazilian superstar's World Cup campaign, reports EFE.

CBF also demanded the cancellation of Thiago Silva's yellow card, which ban\s him from participation against Germany in the semi-final Tuesday.

Psychiatrist visits Brazil's camp

Psychiatrist Regina Brandao visited Brazil's national camp on Monday to support the football team, after Neymar's injury and the death of Marcelo's grandfather. The exit of Neymar after he suffered a broken vertebra against Colombia in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Marcelo's grandfather, 78, died Saturday. He is cited as the main reason for his grandson's success as a footballer. Marcelo was given permission to attend the funeral but he opted to stay.

Brazil will take on Germany in the first semifinal on Tuesday.
