This year the club has made several changes in their team. Former manager Antonio Lopes Habas left the club on mutual consent. They have roped in ex-Spanish international goalkeeper Jose Francisco Molina.

In the last two seasons, Atletico De Kolkata used to play their home games at the famous Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan or Salt Lake stadium as it is known as.

The Salt Lake stadium is currently under renovation. The West Bengal Government owned stadium is one of the venues for the upcoming U-17 World Cup.

Rabindra Sarovar Stadium is located in the southern part of Kolkata. It is a 22,000 capacity stadium. The stadium will be refurbished before it can be used by the Franchise from October onwards.

Atletico De Kolkata will host reigning champions Chennaiyin FC in their opening match of the season on Ocotber 2.
