London, Aug 30: English Premier League giants Arsenal FC are all set to release English midfielder Jack Wilshere on loan this summer to revive his career.
The 24-year-old midfielder who was promoted to Arsenal senior team in 2010 from their academy, is yet to book his place in the team's starting XI.
Wilshere's biggest problem has been his fitness. The midfielder is yet to play a full season in Arsenal colours as he is constantly plagued with several injuries in every season. This has seriously affected the talented player's career.
Arsenal have an array of quality midfielders in the sqaud. The likes of Santi Cazorla, Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey are way ahead of the Wilshere in the pecking order.
The recent jolt that came to the Englishman was his exclusion from the England squad by new manager Sam Allardyce.
Allardyce had said: 'As for Jack, he just hasn't had enough game time. Hopefully he will get that in the future at Arsenal.'
Considering the current situation, Arsene Wenger is apparently considering to send Wilshere on loan before the summer transfer window closes in order to revive his career.
At this stage of his career, Wilshere needs proper game time, which is not possible at Arsenal in the current circumstances.
Wenger, though, believes that the midfielder still has an important role to play in the club in future and thus he is not considering to sell him permanently.
La Liga side Valencia had enquired about the player this January but the club had rejected.
