London, July 25: Arsenal have announced their 24-men squad for the pre-season friendly game against MLS All stars XI on 29th July.
Most of the first team members have been rested as they have come from Copa America and Euro 2016, namely, Aaron Ramsey, Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, etc.
Speaking about the squad, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger: "The players who won't make it are the players who went very far in the European Championship. Such as [Aaron] Ramsey, [Mesut] Ozil, [Olivier] Giroud and [Laurent] Koscielny."
Some of the notable names in the squad are, Pter Cech, Per Mertesacker, Jack Wilshere, Hector Bellerin, Santi Cazorla etc.
Goalkeeper David Ospina has rejoined the squad but Gabriel Paulista misses out due to tonsilitis.
On Paulista's absence Wenger opined: "I left Gabriel behind today because he has tonsillitis and is infected.
"He cannot travel. Alexis will not go either because he had an ankle injury. That is not too bad but I will leave him behind as well."
