Incheon, Sep 22: India's Olympic  Abhinav Bindra announced his retirement from the sport today.

Bindra, who is India's first and only individual Olympic gold medallist (10m Air Rifle, 2008 Beijing), announced on Twitter today that he will end his professional career tomorrow (September 23) at Incheon Asian Games where he will compete.

Recently, at Glasgow, he had announced it would be his last Commonwealth Games. He bowed out on a high with a gold in 10m Air Rifle.

Bindra, who will turn 32 on September 28, has won Olympic, World and Commonwealth Games gold medals but has not won at Asiad. He will be hoping to add that tomorrow and leave on a high from Incheon.

"Tomorrow will mark the end of my professional shooting life ! I will however still shoot , compete as a hobby shooter training twice a week," Bindra tweeted today. However, he said he will try to be at 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
