Narendra Dabholkar murder case: 2 arrested in Pune

Two arrested in Dabholkar murder case
Pune, Jan 20: After five months of wait, Pune police on Monday, finally arrested two people for the murder of anti-superstition crusader Narendra Dabholkar.

Both the arrested men are a part of Nagori Gang according to police sources. They were earlier arrested in murder and extortion cases. Police also said that these men were a part of the conspiracy that was planned to kill Dabholkar.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chawhan had announced a prize of Rs 10 lakhs for those who provided any information regarding Dabholkar's murder. Police had also issued a sketch of the murderers. 

Dabholkar was shot dead on August 20, 2013 while he was out on the road for a walk.
