Separatist call for shutdown in Srinagar to observe Afzal Guru's death anniversary

A high alert was imposed in parts of Srinagar after separatists called for a shutdown to observe the third death anniversary of Parliament attack convict, Afzal Guru. The separatist camp had also announced a shutdown on February 11 to commemorate the death anniversary of JKLF founder Maqbool Bhat, who was hanged in 1984.
