Law commission recommends abolition of death penalty

The Law Commission on Monday recommended the abolition of death penalty for all cases except those involving terrorism and waging war against the nation. The commission, however, said it would not be too long before the absolute abolition of death sentence. The announcement was made by Law Commission Chairman Justice AP Shah.
