Earlier it was reported that the president along with Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar were scheduled to go to Bhojpur to attend a function on Oct 27. Hence, Bihar state government did not allow BJP to hold Modi's rally at the same time.
Turning up to micro-blogging site Twitter, former Bihar deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi had criticised Nitish Kumar accusing the latter of overlapping Gujarat CM's rally in Patna.
The BJP leader had tweeted, "Nkumar is playing all tricks to put hurdles in success of NAMO's Hunkar Rally on 27th Oct. First permission for whole Maidan was denied. Now Nkumar has invited President of India to Patna on the same dates. He will be in Patna on 26th &27th (sic)."
He also had added, "The whole city will be barricaded for President's visit? Namo's plane will not be allowed to land till President's spl plane takes off?"
