Nitish Kumar won't attend silver jubilee of Samajwadi Party
"The main reason behind not attending the function is that Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav have not sent any invitation for Nitish Kumar", JD(U) spokesperson said.
Patna, Nov 2: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will not attend the silver jubilee celebration of Samajwadi Party (SP) on November 5.
When asked about the reason, Janata Dal-United spokesperson K.C. Tayagi told OneIndia, " Nitish Kumar is busy with administrative work during the most popular Chhath festival in Bihar from 4th November to 6th November.
Earlier Nitish had announced that his party JD(U) will contest Uttar Pradesh assembly election next year.
Tyagi also said that "SP's state chief Shivpal Yadav had invited both Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Lalu Prasad for the November 5 function. Lalu Prasad Yadav will attend the fuction."
