Narendra Modi to address rally in Purnea in Bihar today

Purnea (Bihar), March 10: BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is set to address a rally here on Monday. Modi's last rally in Bihar was on March 3 when he shared the stage with Lokjan Shakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan after the latter announced an alliance with the saffron party.

Modi's rally in Purnea will take place at the historic Ranbhoomi Ground which can accommodate upto 2 lakh people. The rally is significant for the district and its adjoining areas are home to a big minority population.

Sushil Kumar Modi & local MP Uday Singh visited the venue on Sunday

On Sunday, Bihar BJP leaders Sushil Kumar Modi and local MP Uday Singh visited the venue to inspect the preparations ahead of the rally. CP Thakur, the local BJP leader who was absent during Modi's rally in Muzaffarpur is likely to be present on Monday.

Sushil Kumar Modi, the former deputy chief minister of Bihar, said he was satisfied with the preparations at the venue and posted pictures of the venue on Twitter.

Bihar will see a six-phase Lok Sabha election between April 10 and May 12.
