Molestation case: Students to meet Guv; demand sacking of Patna Women's College teacher, principal

Patna, Sept 20: Patna Women's College student's battle for justice is on.

The girl student will meet Bihar Governor, Ram Nath Kovind over non cooperation by Principal over her alleged sexual harassment by a male teacher.

A unit of All India Student Federation (AISF) will also meet the Bihar Governor demanding action over Sanjay Datta, teaching in Bachelor of Mass Communication department.

Students have alleged that the college administration is supporting the pervert teacher who has also made lewd comments over girl's dressing sense. The students are demanding removal of accused teacher as well as college principal Marrie Jessie. [Patna Women's College sexual harassment case: Students protest against administration]

The principal, however, clarified that, "Sanjay Datta will not be taken back on roll of college."

She also clarified, "There was delay in action taken against teacher because a written complaint was not handed over by the alleged victim girl." [Bihar: Professor quits after sexual harassment charge]

Meanwhile, students are also demanding that a proper inquiry must be set up in the case.

In an attempt to escape from interrogation, Datta has fled kolkata, sources told OneIndia.
