Rabri Devi also took a dig at the BJP and its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, saying the latter and its candidate will fail to win any seat in Bihar. "The BJP is known for spreading riots," she said, adding that all secular parties need to unite and fight the elections.

The former chief minister, who took over in a dramatic turn of events in 1997 when Prasad was arrested in connection to the fodder scam, said her husband's disqualification as a Lok Sabha member was not going to affect the RJD and that she and two of their sons were trying to keep the party strong.
Prasad was convicted in the fodder scam last month and lost her Lok Sabha membership following the Supreme Court's order on disqualifying convicted politicians.
