Bihar: 6 students killed in road accident, protests erupt at hospital
Siwan, April 20: The death of six schoolchildren and a teacher in an accident has created violence at a hospital in Bihar's Siwan district on Monday.
The incident happened on Monday morning when a private school van carrying atleast a dozen students rammed another vehicle.
The students who were severely injured in the accident were rushed to the nearest district hospital.
Meanwhile, the parents and relatives of students alleged that the hospital was not having enough doctors and they had not received proper medical care.
This ultimately led to a chaos inside the hospital and led to huge protest.
The violent protesters set afire to at least six vehicles including an ambulance, which were inside the hospital complex.
Hospital sources said that the operation theatre was also damaged in the violence.
Additional forces have been deployed by the police to prevent any untoward situation.
