Kejriwal resignation a surprise for many
New Delhi, Feb 14: While Arvind Kejriwal's resignation didn't come as a surprise for many, his supporters hailed him for standing up for what was right and not bowing down to political juggernaut.

Friday began and ended on an eventful note. While the Delhi Assembly was on news channels throughout the day, Delhi CM Arvind Kejiwal refused to bend in front of political biggies and resigned from his post after the Jan Lokpal Bill failed to take off.

Politicians termed Arvind Kejriwal's resignation as a 'political gimmick', while his supporters continued to stand back by their leader. Here's what s0me of them had to say:

Meanwhile Leader of the Opposition in Delhi, Dr Harshvardhan said: "My reaction to Kejriwal quitting is that he has failed miserably. He had no other choice. If polls happen, we will come back stonger. We will not do any drama."

Social activist Anna Hazare said that Kejriwal stepping down from his post was nothing but an 'unfortunate incident.'
