VK Singh questions Rahul Gandhi's absence from Parliament
New Delhi, Dec 2: A day after Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi hit out at union minister VK Singh and sought Singh's removal from the Cabinet, Singh on Wednesday took to Twitter to reply to Gandhi's charges.
Singh wrote in a series of tweets: "Intriguing that Rahul Gandhi questions my absence from the Parliament, wonder how someone who vanished for 57 days earlier this year and has one of the poorest track records when it comes to attending the Parliament (43% in 2013), does so with a straight face."

Singh went on to say: "He talks about my intention to participate in divisive politics, but forgets that I served the army of our great nation for 42 years."
"He forgets that my men and I put our lives on the line to protect this very socio-economic and cultural fabric of our nation," Singh said.

This comes after Gandhi accused Singh of challenging the constitution with his remarks on the incident involving the killing of two Dalit children in Haryana.
