Twitter abuzz with sympathetic, funny tweets on Kejriwal being slapped

People come out in support of Kejriwal
New Delhi, April 8: In a shocking incident, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal was again slapped today and this time by an autorickshaw driver. The attacker identified as Lali, reached upto Kejriwal to garland him and slapped Kejriwal.

The attacker was then immediately taken down by AAP supporters who beat him black and blue. This was the fifth attack on Kejriwal in one month. Shortly after the incident #IStandWithArvind was trending on Twitter.

Post the attack, Twitter was flooded with many tweets, some crtitcising the whole incident and some questioning the attack on Kejriwal again. Not just AAP supporters, but politicians and other well known personalities condemned the incident-

AAP candidate from Amethi Kumar Vishwas tweeted-

Producer, Reality TV host and AAP supporter Raghu Ram also tweeted-

AAP candidate from Mumbai North West Mayank Gandhi too came out in support of Arvind Kejriwal:

Meanwhile BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar took a jibe at AAP.

Some even felt that it was high time that Arvind Kejriwal took security cover-
