TERI report finds RK Pachauri guilty of sexual harassment
New Delhi, May 29: An internal probe by The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI) has found that its Director General RK Pachauri is guilty in the sexual harassment case filed against him by a woman colleague.
TERI committee has recommended disciplinary action against Pachauri.
According to reports, the committee found that Pachauri's repeated attempts to build a personal relationship with the woman had amounted to 'sexual harassment.'
The report filed by the committee states that Pachauri 'took away work from her after she resisted his advances.'
Meanwhile, the complainant had earlier said that Pachauri was trying to influence witnesses [Sexual assault: RK Pachauri influencing witnesses, says complainant].
The woman research analyst who filed a sexual harassment complaint against TERI director general RK Pachauri told the Delhi High Court that he was "influencing" the witnesses in the case and sought the cancellation of his bail.
